Sunday--December 4, 2011

Neil Brown had been mentioned as contender for the HC position at Alabama-Birmingham. Arkansas assistant Garrick McGee has been named HC at UAB.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

UMass legend Dave Palazzi is starting another at Leominister.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ouch! New Hampshire lost at Montana State on a missed extra point.

Maine held Appalachian State to 3 net yards rushing and crushed the Mountaineers 34-12.

Old Dominion lost to GSU as both sides rang up 500+ yards of offense.

Towson surprised everyone in the CAA this year, but the Tigers ran out of gas against Lehigh

Should the Florida A&M band get the death penalty? When we were in FCS, I always hoped for a UMass-Florida A&M or Grambling OOC game. Having the UMMB and Rattlers' bands on the field would have been cosmic!

Not only did Maine hold them to 3 yds rushing, they got 12 yds in the final 1:06 of the game on 3 rushes.

If they are looking at N. Brown and such a pass dominant offense might as well look at the option. How about Brian Bohannon from GT?
