Josh Jennings was CAA Co-Defensive player of the week for his 13 tackles and one INT against Albany.

As mentioned by one of our readers, I thought Anthony Rouzier played well on defense with 6 tackles. It was good to see him out there playing the game. Hopefully, this year will be an injury-free year for him.

New Hampshire opens its season against Army this week. It should be a good indication on the status of the Wildcats post-Santos era. Army continues to decline and UNH with Santos would have won with the score about 42-28. This game should give a good indication of UNH's strength this year.

Hofstra, Northeastern, Delaware and Villanova all have an off week on Saturday.

James Madison had a senior CB quit the team yesterday.

UPDATE: In our Sunday blog post we noted the fine crowd of 15, 112 attended the UMass-Albany game. We report without comment the Boston College-Kent State game at Cleveland Brown's stadium on the same day drew 10,788.
