I realize these "Top Whatever" lists should never be taken too seriously, but Marcel Shipp is not one of the top 30 RBs in FCS history? The earlier lists seem to place a premium on NFL success over college numbers, which I found strange. But Shipp has the numbers in both college and pro to merit being included. It looks like no UMass players will make any of these lists.

UMass actually has a player on the kicker list.

This list is bogus without Shipp.

Shipp and Baylark should be on this list. Marcel set the rushing record for the championship game and rushed for over 6,000 yards in his career. Baylark is only 1 of 3players to rush for 1,000 yards in 4 seasons the other 2 being Adrian Peterson and Jerry Azumah who both made it. This list is absolutely bogus

i fully agree with all these comments. to watch shipp play was like watching a man among boys.

There are actually a couple more who have done the 1,000yds for 4 yrs. Dont know every one of them, but Clifton Dawson did it the same year Baylark did. Actually think Alonzo Coleman also did it in 2006.

Yes, I had the same problem with these lists. They should be named "The players that had the most successful NFL Careers from FCS".

That has little to do with the best FCS players over the past thirty years.

Then again, I have the same argument with people about the Heisman Trophy. I think it should go the the best I-A college player, not the player that is going to get the biggest pro contract.

Remember Marcel shredding Northeastern in a 77-0 stomping-ripping off 80+ yd runs every time he seemed to touch the ball-Incredible
