Barnwell was the highest rated (four stars) recruit on the UMass recruiting list. He was a teammate of Tajae Sharpe.

So, after all that, I guess Nadir ain't coming to UMass.....
Watched Kent State vs. Buffalo last night, a real barn burner, except both teams looked like us. Neither qb seemed that good, lots of drops, turnovers and largely empty stands. More like watching Bethune-Cookman vs. Mars Hill.
Perhaps I worded that poorly. Barnwell was the highest rated player we were currently recruiting.
He had never verbaled to UMass
