The regular season game-of-the-year could be tonight's Toledo-Bowling Green game

Four of the Minutemen's eight losses in 2015 have been to Temple, Notre Dame, Bowling Green and Toledo. Those four teams have a combined record of 34-6...

Victor Cruz will have surgery on his calf injury, which may end his career with the Giants.

I love how you look on the bright side Frank with reference to the records of the ND, etc. I look on the bright side too, most of the time. The downer with this year's squad however is losing to Kent State and Akron........ Those losses are the difference we expected between a shot at .500 record or a losing season. We needed those wins.

We did. However, injuries really impacted us in the second half of the season. I believe if we had been anywhere near healthy we would have won both of those games.

Injuries to Sharpe, Michel and Mills put a real crimp in our offense. The defense played well enough to win.

Oh I know the injuries and depth were our issue. There was a thin line between a winning and losing record and those injuries pushed us closer to the Mendoza line than we ever wanted to be. Hopefully as we build depth, injuries will not be a such a death knell.
