The MAC Report Online has Week #7 conference power ratings. Both Miami of Ohio and UMass are tied for the basement.

In MAC news, Buffalo preps for Western Michigan. The Bulls have a shot at a post season game this year. Most college football preseason magazines picked Buffalo 2nd in the MAC East.

The Bulls resurgent running game has led to success for Buffalo.

The MAC's best team, NIU has seen its rushing totals go off the charts in 2013.

Last week's foe Bowling Green, gets 2-3 Mississippi State this week.

Eastern Michigan has given up nearly a 1,000 yards of offense in their last two games preps for Army's rushing attack.

I watched a replay of Vanderbilt vs UAB last night.  The Commodores hung 52 points on UAB. It further illustrated how well UMass played against Vanderbilt's receivers. Vandy's QB went 23-29 and 300+ yards passing.

Jeromy Miles who has been dealing with a hamstring this year got 23 snaps on special teams for the Ravens last week.

The Malone article and the two comments as of this moment raise some strong opinions. It's difficult to bite my tongue/pen, but I am holding off until we see the outcome of this game.
Clearly, some positive statement must be made tomorrow by this team and its coach.
