The Salem News has a story about Swampscott inducting former players into their athletic Hall-of-Fame. Inducted was Jon Toner. He lettered from UMass in 1974, 75 and 76. Team captain in 1976. First team All-Yankee Conference in 1975. Jon was one of five Toner brothers to play for UMass.
