Christmas Day--2012

Mrs Blog and I would like to wish all UMass fans, family, players and coaches a Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.

May 2013 bring us lots of future All-MAC recruits. May it bring the coaches more wins in 2013.

May the renovations to McGuirk bring some Amherst games to those missing on-campus excitement.

I'm still having fun with the blog and intend to keep it going in 2013. Merry Christmas everybody!

Didn't have internet yesterday so I will comment today. Belated Christmas wishes to you and Mrs. Blog.

I have been a fan and faithful reader of your blog for sometime now and am pleased to hear it will be a part of my daily life in 2013. I honestly don't know how you do it.

I have read here on different occasions criticism of the UMass web page for lacking in info. Well, why shouldn't' be lacking? YOU DO THEIR JOB FOR THEM WITH A PASSION UNMATCHED! (no disrespect to UMass web page intended). The fans of UMass football are SO lucky to have you do what you do! Thanks so much!

I truly appreciate the kind comments. Today's two blog posts bring my total to 4,264.

The reason I've been able to stay motivated is meeting other UMass fans, even if it's only online.

As a "transitional" year, 2012 was like a colonoscopy, the good thing is it's over.

2013 means we're officially FBS,with FBS-level money guarantees, revenue from the League, more FBS talent and more wins.

The new field house construction starts in February and the renovations to McGuirk's Press Box will allow some games to be played at home in the future.

2012 was never-never land. The rise of UMass football really starts this coming year.

Go UMass!
