Couple of thoughts....
The differrence between last year's Notre Dame team (with Molnar as OC) and this year is defense, not offense. The 2012 ND team has held almost all teams to under 20 points.
After watching several MAC games this year I've noticed that the QBs are all very athletic, quick, and highly skilled. We're not anywhere close to any I've seen.
