To quote Thomas Wolfe, "You can't go home again". Regarding UMass, Brown and Whipple are history, so move on.

I dont see how he even gets in the top 5 for that position at uconn. He failed bad at miami and destroyed jacory harris.

Hello Ron, I read your column every day. Please forget the prophecies. Let’s read the news about our move to the MAC or C-USA. Which conference are we going to and when will it become official? Wasn't Temple required to give a commitment by Today?

i would take brown back in a second after watching teams move the ball at will on us every game.

I hope the MAC invites us soon so we can STOP TALKING ABOUT WHIP gone PLE AND BROWN! Those guys are gone and not coming back.

At first I was against the move but I now realise to stay in the CAA is like being put on life-support. The CAA has gone south and Maine and UNH had better be praying for a miracle because they are going to be pushed to the curb due to budgets or more southern teams joining. Let's start with the MAC and see where it takes us. And let's give Morris the REAL chance he deserves.

Still waiting to see what is going to happen with our coaching situation. I imagine a final decision won't be made until we find out which conference we will be moving to - or not :)

Morris isn't going anywhere, can we please stop with the whining??

the coaching situation is simple. morris gets another shot and if he misses the playoffs for the third straight year hes fired. If he cant make the playoffs in three years then he isnt coming back, no more excuses that would get you fired at rhode island.

I cant wait to see what conference we are in too! We really need to upgrade or fans here at Umass! They get out cheered, outclapped and out "waved". We need to start recruiting div 1 fans who know whats going on in a football games! I even saw a delaware fan outclap a Umass woman next to me and during Holy Cross week a fan was yelling "come guys what are you doing" louder than our fans! things need to change! ;) ha ha

They are not going to make any coaching changes!!! Move on from that and let's just hope that this MAC deal is not going south. They are expecting a lot of change that I for one cannot imagine happening

Really...I was under the impresion that if they move to the MAC in 2013 then they are ineligible for FCS playoffs.
