Toledo and FIU played well last nite - Caesars Bowl - it appears that we need more speed. We have good size but need to recruit faster athletes.
We will also be looking at ranked players, 2-star, 3-star etc. and will not be looking at unranked players.
I agree. Speed is a premium, and while we have some great players with solid skills who could compete at the FBS level with little difficulty, players who have breakaway top-flight speed will be needed.We have a few now, but as was evidenced with the game last night, speed changes the tone of a game with one play. Surprisingly, that was a very good game.
