There's no doubt that if (or when) we join the MAC, the enticement for recruits will become very appealing if it hasn't already with last year's freshman class. I think that the team as it is currently constituted could be very competitive in the MAC. I wouldn't be surprised if more high profile recruits committed, and certainly in-state players who leave for Connecticut or opt for BC would have a another choice. Recruiting from NJ, Maryland, NC, SC, Georgia, and Florida could also be improved.
Agree with your comments. Funding for recruiting was reduced last year?? or earlier?? and will be one of the line items that must be increased regardless of what level of football we wish to play.
