UMass placed three players on the New England All-Star team. Tyler Holmes, Anthony Nelson and Greg Niland all made the team. IMHO, Kyle Havens should have been on the list. All he did is lead the CAA in passing and total offense.

Frank- I tipped you off about a couple of big announcements a few weeks ago. Well make sure you are in Boston tommorow to hear the latest big news. Talk about a whopper!! Great news for UMASS.
Frank thanks again for this website. I have been checking your site daily for news.
Its not all about stats Umass went 6-5. You judge a Quarterback off Wins. Tom Brady wouldn't be a top 5 QB right now if it was just about numbers. SO Havens should have not made anything
UMass to the Big Ten.
I think Big Dan's blog nailed it dead on.
Philip Rivers is being considered for the MVP of the NFL and his team is barely over .500.... Get out of New England with your Tom Brady comparison! Ha
I didn't realize that quarterbacks won games. I thought teams did. Offense (ranked 3rd in scoring offense), defense. (ranked 9th) and special teams. Peyton Mannings ranked 5th and his team has a record of 6-5. 5th in offense 17th in defense. Wins and losses are not always about the QB.
If it's about wins, why did Dale Fink of 4-7 Sacred Heart make the team?
whats up about the 4-7 Finks getting the nod over other qbs , anonymous says its about wins , last time i checked 6-5 was better than 4-7 ?
