Recruiting 2010--Matt Ehasz

a parisicommunity.com image
UMass is interested in Matt Ehasz, a 5-11 160 pd K from Camden County HS in Kingsland, GA.

Ehasz' Scout.com bio here.

This post has more information about him.

YouTube video highlight film.

Besides UMass, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Troy and UCF are interested. UMass could have a shot as the Minutemen have, in the past, offered scholarships to kickers. FBS schools, despite their 85 scholarships, often make kickers walk on.

We certainly saw the impact of unreliable kicking at the end of the season.

According to ESPN Recruiting UMass received a verbal from Dan Foesel a 6'3" 235lb TE from De Paul Catholic HS in NJ. They have him listed as a 3 star recruit.

Go Umass!

Good to see we have recruited someone with the size to play in the MAC. All of our H.S. recruits should redshirt. They will then be RS-SO when we become full members in the MAC.
