UMass grinds out 28-24 win over Northeastern

Once again Tony Nelson was the deciding factor in UMass winning its fourth game of the season. Nelson kept banging into the line and by the last ten minutes of the the game it was the Huskies that got tired. He ended up with 37 carries and 175 yards.

This one was not easy as we left at least 10 points on the field and made the game tougher than it should have been.

The UMass defense again rose to the challenge when needed supplying several late stops to seal the game.

Big UMass turnout and a beautiful day. A win is a win and it's not decided by style points.
