Game day ------ Delaware

Big game today against the Delaware Blue Hens. the losing team goes to three losses in five games. Making the playoffs with that start would be difficult. In 1999, UMass lost three of their first four against New Hampshire, Toledo and Hofstra and still made the playoffs. But they had to win seven in a row to do it.

Beat the Hens today and the road will be much, much easier.

Bob McGovern over on his excellent UMass all-sports blog "Between Mullins and McGuirk" thinks so too.

I enjoyed watching the game. The OL looks like it has stabilized. They were the key to the game for me. Ducasse, Samuda, Calicchio, Getek, and Cobyln did a great job.

UGLY-UGLY
1st Delaware series-stop them on third down-get offsides penalty-result 1st down-continue to drive down field and score tying TD

Who was Cohen throwing to all day?-And whoever said to " keep waiting on Wilson"-how many drops did Umass receivers have ?? 4-5 that I counted
They can Lose Ozzy between plays-annoying!!
Delaware always travels strong-thus the high attendence ( We had 2 relatives who made the trip)
Whats with the heavy Johhny presence at the Games??
Once again- Brown better get his Shit together
The highlight of the day was the kielbasa from Pekarskis in Deerfield
