Sunday--October 5, 2014

Well, for the second year in a row, we went for a TD instead of trusting the kicking game. And for the second year, it didn't work. UMass wasted another big offensive performance and could not hold a lead.

Losing to a BCS team is expected. Losing to Bowling Green's killer offense is understandable. Losing to Miami (Ohio) is discouraging.

The Minutemen need to grit their teeth and bear down. Turnovers will kill you every time. We've played two league games and late turnovers decided both.

Frank, it doesn't matter WHO they're playing the results are the same. This team beats itself and plays poorly in the second half of games. No lead is safe and a lot of players failed to make plays in 4 of the last 5 losses. Very discouraging!

Yeah, that one hurt. Good thing I was really busy and away from home at the conference. Otherwise, Mrs Blog would be chewing me out for moping around :(
