Ok, I'm for everyone, including me, to stop bashing players. The media has systematically pointed to the same players week after week as bad, failures, incompetent, losers. Enough is enough, let them be students, let them suceed in what ever they pursue. Everyone on the team has played and practiced hard. Give 'em a break.

I agree with you, Vetteson. There is no need to bash these players by name, afterall, they are students first, athletes second. Even though we are 0-6, we know we should be 4-2 or 3-3 at worst. And that's what's frustrating.

I for one feel the excitement is back in the program. I still believe we will win multiple games this year and I can't wait till next year. The product is going to continue to improve and a MAC Championship next year or at least a bowl game appearance isn't out of the realm of possibilities.

Let's get behind this team, once and for all, cheer them on, applauded their successes and help pick them up after a set back. We expect better from the team...let's expect better from us fans.

Yeah, we needed more than a one year rebuilding effort from Whipple.

This year the offense got 2 GR transfers and five other JUCO's. That worked.

Next year the defense needs the same. We've got good players on defense, we need more depth and/or some Jean Sifrin-level JUCO's. The defense's second half struggles makes me think they are playing hard in the first half and are gassed during the second.

If we had a defense as good as the offense, we'll have a bowl-level team.

Top recruiting priorities for 2015.

1. Punter and kicker
2. Some JUCO front-seven on defense.
3. An impact RB.
