Matty V. has a story about walk-on UMass Safety Joe Colton.

In health news, Matty says Marken Michel and Michael Boland are available for the Western Michigan game. Greg Hilliard and Galen Clemons are "probable" for Saturday's game.

MassLive's Harry Plumer has a story about Notre Dame transfer Deion Walker and says recently it's been "wheels up" for the big wide receiver.

Western Michigan also has some injury problems. WR Eric Monette is listed as 50-50 for the UMass game. WR Michael Henry was injured at practice yesterday. Broncos first string QB Alex Carder is out.

USA Today bowl predictions. says in the MAC, offenses are in total control.

Because of BCS playoff considerations, Ohio State may schedule fewer MAC teams.

College football players sometimes get into trouble, but this is a new one as far as I can see. Ten North Dakota State player plead guilty to ------ election fraud.

Although the Giants did not win the game, the Eagles defense did not have an answer for Victor Cruz.
