Buffalo News has the MAC conference roundup from Saturday's games.

The MAC Blog "Hustle Belt" says Western Michigan's QB Alex Carder is out indefinitely  after having surgery on his throwing hand.

Broncos backup QB Tyler Van Tubbergen went 26-46-232 in last week's loss to Toledo. He threw three INT's. The UMass game will be Van Tubbergen's third career start.
