Coach Molnar is a head coach-in-training. He's got more on his plate than most new coaches. Forget Don Brown, Whipple, and any other dinosaur of UMass' coaching past. The "whole" season will tell us about Molnar. The set back at Western Michigan was in part due to immature players with swelled heads after the Ohio game. In the first place Ohio isn't that good. They barely beat Buffalo and if the played Penn State now they'd get crushed. Secondly, no one expected us to win a game(s) this year, but show improvement. That will include demanding discipline and his choice to bench knucklehead players is a good step.

I agree with Vetteson, the days of Brown & Whipple are long past and no longer in the rear-view mirror. Molnar is the present and future of theprogram; let's give him a chance. I still think we can get 2-3 wins this season BUT WE MUST BRING OUR "A" GAME TO DO IT! Molnar made the right choice in benching those players; his players answer to one set of rules, HIS.

Start renovating McQuirk, be patient, attend the games at Gillette...Better days are coming!
