Wednesday before Mississippi State--September 21st, 2016

Matty Vautour has a post on Mississippi State's Dan Mullen, who's a New Hampshire native. Mullen's Mississippi State bio.

Matty also reports that Ross Comis is still limited by an injury. Whipple said he like John Robinson-Woodget as a late-game clock killer. I'd use him for more than that. He'd be my choice for a third down and anything inside the five yard marker.

The UMass Daily Collegian says Comis and Ford are still neck-and-neck for starting QB.

I know coach Whip really likes Comis, but I feel Ford has more game-man-ship and can see over the line. I really hope Ford starts.

Whipple seems to fall in love with his guy, even when they don't produce. His stubborness last year cost them games. Don't repeat last years mistake. Play the player that produces.
