What about #5 dont see Davis getting that # but you never know Gatek got Hops # do you think his position will change to OL
Jeromy Miles worn #5 at Navy and he has it now. I don't see it being available until he graduates.
Getek now has an OL number, so I would think that the rumor that he has been moved to OL is true. Remember tackles are eligible as long as they report to the refs. Think there could be trick play or two this year?
Didnt the link that you had posted state that Kumar Davis will be wearing #5
There was a Virginia newspaper recruiting article that said that.
Have not seen anything from UMass promising him #5. It may have been a misunderstanding on his part or the newspaper.
Or, it's his in two years :)
I'd ask again for people not to post unconfirmed comments about player's grades, personal problems or football plans.
Stuff like that needs to be addressed by the Athletic Dept.
I know everybody's heart is in the right place because we just want to hash over UMass Football, but when it involves someone's reputation, we need to be careful.
Question: If a student does not participate in spring drills, does this make him inillegible for summer camp? Can the player return? I'd love to see the guys who have not participated in spring drills come back for the fall!
Grochowalski, Gottehrer and Alexis were all redshirt Juniors. They have already been at UMass for four years.
Graduation and getting on with their lives may be the cause of their not being on the spring roster.
thats the reasoning for Biff, don't know about groch. But Willy was kicked off for other reasons
