Are there plans to improve or expand the stadium seating at McGuirk? Even with the proposed improvements, it's still not anywhere near a FBS facility. Much better, certainly, but for the experience of watching a game?

Ah, too soon to tell, in my opinion.

We need to win in the MAC. If we draw well at Gillette, that could be the reason for upgrading McGuirk.

I'm sure UMass would like a better on-campus facility.

I don't see major seating improvements happening to McGuirk. If UMass wins and draws well at Gillette, why would you move the team back to Amherst? If it ain't broke don't fix it.

If we move back to Amherst permanently it means this FBS bid was a failure. How can you then justify stadium improvements? McGuirk is going to improved enough so the MAC allows us to host homecoming in Amherst and maybe a Thursday night game here or there.

There are drawings for expanding McGuirk seating, but I don't think they're part of the renovations approved this round.
