UMass suspends four players after they are arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

Two words...Dumb Asses...
Thursday night is a big party night at UMass.
Kids will be kids and there were plenty of drugs around when I was there and played. But to have physical possession downtown outside a bar is just plain stupid. Hopefully it is a wake-up call to others on the team.
Veveiros is a decent player and will be the biggest loss, especially going into a pass happy Delaware game next week. Davis has had some PT, he has his chance to step up.

Stupidity. I'm sure every one of them are admonished before every season and throughout: DON'T DO THIS. PERIOD. And yet.... This is the kind of arrogance that can make a player great, but also can mark their downfall. Idiocy.
