Tuesday Morning reading

Jeff Thomas of the Springfield Republican has an article with Coach Brown discussing the SIU game and he also looks at UMass' recruiting needs in 2008.

Despite its strong showing so far, the Salukis are still searching for fans. Coach Kill was diplomatic about the showing. The student newspaper categorized the turnout as "pathetic".

Delaware gets SIU next. And the Hens are smiling.

scout.com page: http://massachusetts.scout.com/a.z?s=435&p=8&c=1&nid=1724949

Interesting that he is only rated 1* on scout.com whereas rivals.com rated him a 3*

I would like to see him enroll at UMass this summer.

It appears he did not crack the two 2 deep depth chart when looking at the pre spring and post spring as well as the final season chart. We have a lot of depth at DB and he would probably be a special teamer at best. I would really like to see us find a RB, WR and a couple established O-Line transfers. Thats all. Merry Christmas

I agree about the O-Line. We have a transfer from ND/IND who was with the team this year. As the way it sits now there would be a starter on the O-Line that hasn't played a down of college ball yet. With three seniors leaving and only two players that played at all backing them up. Although we have some solid looking underclassmen.
