From up in the Top Roww

We are always looking at the glass as half full. Nonetheless this was a particularly difficult loss to comprehend.

As far as the players play and coaches coach - - - and a lot of folks have opinions on that. Coaches should not be changed mid-season that just further produces difficulties. Not saying at times it should not happen but if it can be avoided it should be.

As for the players well seems like it is time to look inward and determine where each of them are going. Could look at too many positions and say "what if". Sure injuries happen and players have to come in and make plays. Call it stepping up or use whatever term makes you feel good but the fact is players will need to be changed or substituted for. Whoever is on the field is expected to make plays.

Did not see the game so will not go on about the offense or defense but will comment on special teams. We again cannot make our kicks and worse we have kicks blocked that turn into points for the other team. This absolutely cannot happen. When will this program get this idea into her head is unknown. Seems like just about every year for the last few years at least we have had games turn around on us due to poor special teams play that leads into points for the opponent.

Playing C Ct this week. They played Jimmy Mad pretty tight a few weeks ago. What does that mean?

It means our team has to show up and play like they are supposed to. All parts, everyone, coaches, trainers, backups, first teamers - EVERYONE.

Get the W this week by whatever means possible. This is game# 5 if players are not doing it by now then it seems like they are not suited and play someone who will.

In the next 3 weeks we go to Delaware, then to Gillette against a good UNH team, then to Richmond. None of these games will be easy and our team will have to fight to win.

Looks like we are standing at the crossroads of the season either this week or next.

Give Hill a chance to play a whole game and I think you will see great improvement in the qb position. What do we have to lose, at least we won't be turning over the ball. Turnovers are the difference between wins and loses

I would be opposed to replacing the coach now. Who would be the interim head coach brian picucci? That is not going to happen.

Losing important games by big scores which should be much closer and losing must win games doesn't do it for me - remember UNH and URI in 2010! The Michigan miracle has fizzled, especially knowing with hindsight it was Rich Rodriguez' swan song year and not a typical Michigan team.
I believe more than enough chances have been given and it's time for a change at the top. We may have a rocky entry into Div 1, but it will be worse with the current regime. This is such a bad time for us to be so weak at the top!

Picucci could do Morris's job with his eyes closed...if not the glad-handing.

UMass has been in Division 1 for quite a few years already.
