From the UMass website: ' Friday is UMass football's Pro Day at McGuirk Stadium, the event starts around 10 am."

From Matty V's latest article :" Several UMass senior football players with professional aspirations will work out for scouts from the NFL, Canadian Football League, United Football League and Arena Football today at McGuirk Stadium".

Tom King of MassLive says UMass can play with the big boys.

Ralph Nader wants to do away with college football scholarships.

The NCAA says:" Mr. Nader's proposal is off-base on so many fronts it is hard to know where to start."

Villanova has released its 2011 schedule.

This is hilarious, thanks for posting this. Nader is a complete bufoon and has no idea what he is talking about. Eliminate athletic scholarships might be the dumbest idea I've ever heard of. Does nader have any idea how much tv and the schools make off college sports. If he got what he wanted kids would be taking money from agents, boosters, mentors and whoever else just to pay for school. It would be 100 times more corrupt.

That's not what he's saying. He's saying either pay the students for the business and profit that they are giving other people or don't give them anything at all. Meaning they should get paid in some way.

Nader is still around? That's news to me.

So he wants to get rid of athletic scholarships for all sports because he doesn't like how college football and basketball are? That makes complete sense.
