College football in NFL stadiums made another jump when Syracuse signed a 20 year deal to play some games in the New Meadowlands Stadium. The Orange want to be "New York's college team".

Max Jacques (cool name) couldn't have accepted a scholarship from Marist, because Marist is non-scholarship. His comment about UMass only wanting him as a walk-on is strange when put in that context.

So if Syracuse wants to be the face of NY college football, it makes you think; WHY CANT WE DO IT IN MASS? Forget Boston College, this is our turn now to become the state's #1 team and broaden our marketing, with going to the MAC and sharing Gillete with the Pats. I don't think this is that far fetched of an obstacle to conquer. It's either we stride forward and move now or we stay content and miss out on all the endless opportunities that will come. Just think in about 7-10 years you will look back and remember those days in the CAA when the Minutemen are playing in a BCS Bowl.
