Can someone put up the 1st team offense and 1st team defense for the Spring game. I realize a few guys are out because of injuries and have not lost their starting spot ( ie: Jennings) It would be nice to get a look at the depth chart heading into Fall camp.

Lupe Fiasco at the Spring concert last threw on a Liam Coen UMass football jersey.

From pic #17 which is probably "1st team"

LT:Ducasse
LG:Samuda
C:Sales
RG:Flanagan
RT:Milhim
WR:Talley, Cruz and Sanford
TE:Krevis
QB:Woodward
RB:Nelson

The DL is Monette, Collier, Thompson and Hanson.

More than likely Miles and Viveiros were at the safety spots, while Filler and Dickson were two of the LBs. C. Davis would have been one corner. The other two on D I don't know. Cozzo or Bailey at the other corner or both in,Besong at LB?

I would think Ihne is your starting center and a linebacker I didn't see saturday was Besong.

I didn't notice him either, but there were a lot of players to see.

Was Getek playing? Him and Ihne will probably both start along the OL.

Inj. did not play in spring game: Jennings (starting mlb), Ihne (starting center), Getek (Starting tackle), Silver (Starting TE), Harrington (starting NT), Besong (Will definetely compete with Dickson for starting WLB)

Also: J Horne (starting WR)

I would say the way Sales and Flanagan have played there will be a tough competition for Center come camp if Ihne is healthy.

If Hawkins doesn't win the job, which I think he will (constantly underthrows recievers, not very accurate and inconsistant in arm strength, went to first scrimmage and watched him underthrow a reciever by ten yards on a 15 yards route) Coaches at UMass need to get with the times and put in a Wildcat package for him. It would be a waste to keep someone with his athleticism on the sidelines.

*correction think he will not

When will people stop with this wildcat stuff? Teams have been doing it long before the Dolphins started to, why make a big deal about it now and call anything without a QB under center "wildcat".

Woody is no joke from what I've seen he is the most fundamental sound guy out there.

i was reading about kansas going to a 5-2 defense. you normally do this if your linebackers are not particulary the strength of the team and you bring in a safety who can also play linebacker. are we in the same situation. our linebackers did not particulary look that good at the spring game
