The Hartford Courant says UConn suffered a losing and lost season. Despite BC reaching the stratospheric record of 6-6 and being bowl eligible, it was a lost season for New England FBS teams.

If you didn't get to see the game Saturday, during one play, UMass TE Adam Breneman took a shot to his knees. About a half a dozen UMass players ran to check on him. Breneman got up and returned to the game after one play out.

With Idaho dropping down to FCS, hopefully we can pick up some of their FBS games as in independent in 2018-2020, pending any conference changes. Don't think Idaho wants to play 3 OOC FBS games as an FCS squad, would be interested to see what contractual language is in those contracts pertaining to non delivery of FBS status. I would also think that the FBS teams on their schedule don't want 2 FCS games as they probably already have one scheduled.
