Michael Traini reboots the Maroon Musket. This is good news for UMass fans as 247Sports has been more or less ignoring the Minutemen since the Bob McGovern left the Maroon Musket.


Michigan opens as a 41-point favorite over Hawaii. It's the Wolverines largest point spread since the played UMass in 2012.


SB Nation's "Fake Teams" says Tajae Sharpe probably won't be a viable fantasy football pick.


Texas governor Greg Abbot says the Big 12 must take Houston.

The Longhorns may be on board with that. wonders if UConn is a viable candidate.

BYU has started its own website BYU to the Big 12.

The Star-Telegram says there is something to nit-pick about every candidate.


The Sun-Herald says UMass would bring a good basketball program and a large market to the AAC.

The New Haven Register looks at the AAC's hoops teams. Being in a league with Temple and UConn would be a major boost for Minutemen basketball in fan interest. There's no connection with A10 teams except for Rhode Island for most UMass fans.

Football ticket marketing continues to remain silent. I live in Marlboro, 30 minutes from Foxboro, and have seen zero promotion. Hasn't this strategy been done before?smfh
