ESPN says multiple sources say Tulsa will get the nod as 12th member of the football Big East. It was just too early in UMass' development cycle for the Minutemen to be considered. We need five or so years in the MAC and some winning seasons to get serious consideration to a BCS league.

I expect conference realignments to continues. The ACC could be the next league to be raided.
