Wednesday News ----- July 14th, 2010

The NCAA has an annotated 2010 FCS Vs FBS list here.

Speaking of the NCAA, they have a spiffy new FCS Championship page.

Thorr Bjorn will join the FCS Athletics Directors Association Executive Committee.

Not everybody is happy with the new look of Michigan's Big House.

MGoBlog has a lot more.

Montana DB Jimmy Wilson is back with the Grizzlies after an unusual layoff-----he was in jail accused of murder.

His story by the Montana Athletic Dept.

Only fifty-two days until the 2010 season opens. Wearing #52 for UMass this year will be Bill Nesselt a 6-2 245 pd RS FR DL from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Nesselt was redshited in 2009. He was playing with the first team defense during the spring game.

Thorr joining that committee suggests that Rhody football will be around a while.

First three games will determine the season, two nationally ranked opponents (W&M 3 or 4, Holycross 14 or 15) first two weeks then Michigan, which is certain loss.

The Blog will be discussing each game on this season's schedule in detail.

Some pundits are picking W&M as the preseason #1 team.

It will be interesting to see how the Cross does without Randolph....

william and mary might score 50 on our defense to start it off. I'm very worried about w & m.

Holy Cross opens with 2-9 Howard. The Bison's only 2009 wins were a 14-11 win over 0-11 Georgetown and a 7-3 win over 1-10 Winston-Salem state.

Howard's offense did not score more the 20 points in any game last year...

How easily one forgets the defense was actually good last year.
