I like our chances this year against Texas Tech and I am now officially predicting UMass over T-Tech by 3 points. I have been motivated already by the naysayers chirping up already. I predicted Appalachian over Michigan last year, and no one believed me. UMass's O-Line is just as big or bigger than T-Tech O-line. We have a bruising back for short yardage needs now to go along with UMass's most prolific passer. Our defensive line is going to be much bigger this year. According to Brown, he has not lost any speed on the D-line. The big D-line will help our younger inside linebackers, but they will have a couple of games under there belt before the Tech game. Barring any serious injuries in the first few games, Tech is in for a game.

I agree they are in for a game. But seriously, are you taking marijuana?

No, never touch the stuff. Why can't UMass beat Tech? Tech puts on their uniforms the same way UMass does. Their athletes are not on any higher level than ours, just that they have 22 more scholies than us. That may or may not come into play pending the temperature during the game. The cooler the temperature, the better for UMass. UMass will have a chip on their shoulder, especially knowing that the gave BC a real tough game. Our kids will not be looking to just compete, they think they will be able to win. UMass is due against a FBS team. If our kids go in with your attitude "hopefully keeping it within 40", why even go or schedule the game.

We are playing them for the $$ they are paying us.

The glass seems to be always half empty in your world. Good luck with all your negative thoughts but please don't post them here. You must have thought #10 FBS BC was going to blow us ut by 50 pts last year. Oh yea, we must have played BC for the money as well.

listen there is not way Umass is going to beat texas tech they return 18 starters and only lose one on offense and this is the team that beat Oklahoma and Virgina. not only that they picked up 3 d-line players who already played for tech but went to the sister school to step up there game and they lead TTU defense to victory twice agaisnt the offense which hasnt happend since Leach had been there and the reason they play twice was Leach thought it was the offense not playing well so they played again within 24 hours and still lost so not only the offense you have to worry about it is now the defense which Texas Tech by some Sportswriters think Tech has a great chance to run the tables and UMASS is just a warm up game to go into the Big 12 where UMASS cant defend themselves in...

and yes you must be smoking some weed...
