Coach's Caravan, a series of Meet-N-Greet events featuring new head basketball coach Derek Kellogg. The first event is being held tonight, Wednesday in Boston, as Kellogg will be on hand to talk and mingle at Clarke's in Faneuil Hall from 5-7 p.m. Tomorrow night, the Caravan moves to Springfield at Champions Sports Bar in downtown.

I continue to wonder why this hasn't been done for the football program and Coach Brown. Not only will it give Coach Brown a chance to meet the football program supporters but it should also sell season tickets.

Coach Brown (and usually most of the football staff) will be at the Friends of Football Golf Classic on 06/23/08 at Wachusett Country Club. See the "Friends" link in the sidebar.

In the past Coach Pickett and Coach Mac have also attended. Playing golf is not mandatory, The banquet is available separately.

The Coach Kellogg's Caravan has not been setup without some carping/complaining. See Mike's BB message board for a history.

Events like that are not easy to do.

Events aren't easy to do do kudos to the people who are arranging them.

Why haven't they been done in multiple cities around the state for the football program? I don't recall anything being done for the football program when Coach Brown was hired.

I also doubt People are going to drive from Boston, Amherst, Springfield, or Pittsfield to the Wachusett Country Club.

The football program isn't being supported the way it should be.
