UMass Football and Field Hockey have joined forces for bone marrow registry. Over the years several UMass players have donated bone marrow to persons needing bone marrow transplant due to Leukemia or lymphoma.

Old Dominion finished their 2017 schedule by adding Albany. The Monarchs will be the Minutemen's first home game of 2017, visiting McGuirk on September 9th.
