Even though Molnar may have sounded like a used car salsesman in his program pitch, he is doing a great job recruiting so far. New Jersey is a hot spot in recruiting, and we're definitely putting our presence there. We've missed out on the top MASS guys, but the programs the picked over us we can't compete with yet. hopefully in five to ten years we can win battles with teams like notre dame, michigan, wake forest, virginia, and others in recruiting.

I'm impressed with Coach Molnar's recruiting so far. Give him a couple of years and it looks like UMass will be very competitive in the MAC in regards to talent.

MAC schools do not sign many four-star recruits, but then again neither does the Big East.

If we eventually move to a BCS conference, then recruiting will have to kick up another notch.

It's just me, but I think Gillette is making an impact. Lots of kids will want to play there.

Frank, I thought the same thing about the Gillette impact but according to Matt Alkire a recruiting expert and Shane Huber a NJ/LB recruit it's the coaching staff's energy and everything about the school and the UMass college atmosphere that recruits are impressed with . . . Very little on the Foxboro move! Tom M
