I know the Friends of Football has done some good things for the program but this group needs to at least step up and update their site with the new coaching staff names. Kevin Morris and staff have been long gone and for the University to publish that certain level donors will be recognized on their site is rediculous considering how dated updates are. Frank any chance you could at least update for them?

Support system at Umass is lacking, just look at the efforts to promote football-all aimed at existing season ticket holders. With a stadium with unlimited seating, not looking for new people until a week before the first game is a mistake!! Even athletic website has gone waay done hill the last couple of years.

Like the entire UMass system, UMass athletics have taken a hit in the recession. I've heard Minutemen athletics has been cut by $1 million.

If you want to help, donate some $$$ to the athletic dept. We probably have not actually received any of those FBS bucks yet. In addition, because we are a "transition" team, we get more than an FCS team but less than a established FBS team.

Being a season ticket holder also helps. Being a "basic' member of the athletic sports club at $25 helps. Being a member of the alumni association helps.

Frank, I have season tix and donate every year.Until umass learns that they must spend money to make money and be successful, they will always be waiting for better days. Do you realize I can buy a ticket for N.Illonois game vs UMass on Nov.3 (at N.Illonois). But can not buy individual tickets for any Umass home game yet. This is not getting it done at all. If you don't believe me, go to the website and try to purchase tickets. The only tickets for Umass are on ticketmaster for games at Uconn and N.Illonois!!
