would we have to travel in the second round against Illinois

Southern Ill. is the fourth seed, so I would expect us to go to Carbondale , Ill.

If Eastern Ill upsets the Salukis, then maybe we'll have a home game.

UNH does not belong in the playoffs if Umass were in the same standing do you seriously think we would get a playoff bid(I THINK NOT)

I didn't have a vote, honest! :)

Can you tell me why N. Dakota State isn't in the playoffs?

I agree completely with the sentiment that UNH does NOT belong in the playoffs. Maybe Ricky S. has something on one of the selection committee members.

North Dakota State is not eligible for the playoffs.

They're transitioning from DII.

The Bison will be FCS playoff eligible in 2008 and will be full members of the Gateway Conference the same year.

Downloaded their 172 page media guide. Very interesting, although the information is about their 2006 football team. Their school colors are - Maroon and White.

re: North Dakota State, we better have an outstanding recruiting class. They were a power this year and will be better next year.

North Dakota might not have such good results when they join the Gateway.

This year they beat:
Stephen F. Austin 0-11
Southern Utah 0-11
Mississippi Valley State 3-8

And lost to a DII team South Dakota State...

That's North Dakota State. Not North Dakota. Comments are not editable.
