Craig Haley of The Sports Network latest article is "The Top 10 RB's in FCS".
Haley supplies the first bulletin board material of 2010 as he picks William & Mary's Jonathan Grimes and leaves out UMass' John Griffin. Both were first team All-CAA last year.
Grimes: 14 games 277-1294 4.7 AVE 9 TD 61 Lg 92.4 AVE/Game
Griffin: 11 games 207-1009 4.9 AVE 5 TD 70 Lg 91.7 AVE/Game.
UMass fans will get to see Griffin and the UMass offensive line go head-to-head with the Tribe on Sept 4th.
The Montana Billings Gazette blogs about the Grizzlies' Chase Reynolds being the best (according to Haley) in FCS.

Ricky Santos has been released from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

A Bleacher Report writer says the UMass-Michigan game should be "a lot like the Delaware State game last year". You will remember the Hornets lost to Michigan 6-63 last year.

Griffin played for Northeastern last year and they won 2 games. tough to get national exposure playing for a non exsistent program. I wouldnt consider that bulletin board material, he just didnt have the exposure.
And he played for a much worse team with zero passing game and still averaged more yards per carry than grimes with a lot less carries. Not to mention Matt Szcur if he returns. This list might be bogus
Sczur Griffin and Grimes should be top 3 on that list the CAA is the toughest competition and best conference in the FCS by far
Sczuzr plays wr not a true running back
how many yards did griffin rack up on second team defenses last year. Northeastern was out of several games last season by halftime.
This isn't highschool football no one is out of a game by halftime
Nova beat NU by 49 this year.
john griffen had 32 yards against Nova baby NCAA champs!! he didnt rack any yards on first team or second team defense
