As we all knew he would. Liam Coen joins the Brown University as quarterbacks coach.
Matty Vautour has a blog post here. I can't find the relevant blog post, but I believe Matty had a over-and-under bet that Liam would return to UMass as HC in about 10 years...

Coen would have won a national title if Whipple was his position coach for 4 years.
Right, he just holds all career records at Umass having been coached by Morris. 2 league titles and one national championship game, with 13 wins that year more than any Whipple coached team.
whipple won a national title.
Yes everyone knows that he won one in his first year...what point are you making again?
brown went 43-19 in 5 years
whipple went 49-26 in 6 years
brown was just as good of coach as whipple
You don't win national championships with qbs who have an injured arm like Liam had his senior year.
