Appearing on the UMass 2006 commitment list with no announcement that I could find, is 5-10 170 pd DB DeMarcus Robinson of Sunrise Fl.Robinson had previously committed to Rutgers, but has switched to UMass.
He is a strong addition to UMass football:
- Was a Rivals two-Star recruit
- Also recruited by Kansas, Kansas State and UCF
- Ran a blistering 4.3 forty in the Nike Combine
- Played in two All-Star games
- 2nd Team all County in the talent rich South Florida
- 54 tackles in 8 games, 9 pass breakups, 1 INT, 3 TFL
- 3 TDs on returns.
