Recruiting 2018--Jo-El Shaw II

Hudl.com image
There is no information about a UMass offer to Jo-El Shaw, a 6-1 235 pound FB/RB from Lackawana C.C., but he has just received an offer from Syracuse.

Shaw had an offer from UMass back in 2015.

Hudl.com has video from Lackawana.

At 6-1 235 Shaw is the kind of power running back that the Minutemen have been lacking since the move to FBS.

Agree with your comment regarding the need for a big true runningback.A balanced offense is a must, and a dependable hard running back with size gives you that. Please,no converted linemen!Still no new running backs that can play this Fall.Curious!

In regards to players leaving: do not make posts about grades or personal problems. If he moved on or transferred that's OK, but someone making an anonymous comment that may or may not be true is not fair to the player.

I believe Former UMass RB Mack stayed at UMass and graduated this month. Congratulations to him!

We are all truly glad that he finished up and graduated, but what about the recruitment of a big RB and its significance to this pass oriented program.
