Tuesday--June 11, 2013-- A Major Gift to UMass Football

UMass announced Monday that Martin Jacobson has donated $2.5 Million to the Athletic Dept for construction of the new 5,800 sq foot press box. Mr Jacobson is a 1968 graduate of my old school, the Isenberg School of Business.

Kudos to Mr. Jacobson for his generosity and commitment to UMass football. The new press box will really add to McGuirk. UMass football is on the rise! I'm excited about the 2013 season and the seasons to come.

UPDATE: UMass video link about the announcement.
