Since Coach Brown has arrived, UMass has been more aggressively recruiting home state players. We'll see how many of the All-State list end up in Maroon & White.

Already a good start with Coblyn(DE) and Bryan Smith (TB . .if it's true). He's a legit 4.5/40 and at 6'2/236 a load! The exposure on ESPN2 on consecutive Fridays can't hurt.Sure glad Whip didn't get the BC job. I think he'll get a god job soon, just didn't want BC to get him.

I wonder if Whipple got the BC job if he would have asked Brown to join him?
I hope Coach Brown stays for a while. He's just what UMass needs.
