The UMass Football Twitter feed shows construction has started on the new practice field and winter bubble.
This is going to be a big boost for the program. A second field will give more flexibility in practice and the winter bubble will help in conditioning and skills. UMass is a cold weather Northeast team and it might help recruiting for kids not used to the Massachusetts climate.
