Below is a selection of articles from the game. Last year UMass fans sat through a great I-AA game with UNH coming out on top. This year it was UMass with a great effort.
Interestingly, in a quick read of the various press coverage, there was very little comment on the roughing the kicker call. I was there and that call changed the total momentum of the game. UMass was going to get the ball on the UNH 35 yard line and score again. They had just stuffed Santos and company that far in the game. Once UNH got it going they were good. We know that. If that call had not happened, the game would have been a lot different.
