Former UMass LB John Debs passes away

Former UMass LB John Debs 46 years old passed away on Friday October 27th.

Debs played one year for the Minutemen. He started his college football career Worcester State College's Club team then attended Holy Cross. He transfered to UMass in the spring of '82.

He was the second leading tackler in 1982 with 43 UT 49 AT 5 sacks 1 Int. UMass was Yankee Conference Champions that year.
