The Daily Progress reports Liberty AD Ian McCaw thinks the Flames program is entering a "Golden Age". Liberty won six games in their first year in FBS. The Flames beat Old Dominion (UMass is 0-2 against the Monarchs) and Group-of-Five power Troy in their first year. The Flames return fourteen starters and should be even better this year.
If you missed it, the Flames added former Auburn dual-threat QB Malik Willis recently.
